COMP Cams® warrants that all of its product are free from defects
in material, workmanship and against excessive wear for a period
of 12 months from the date of purchase. This limited warranty shall
apply for a period of one year from the date of purchase and shall
cover only the original purchaser. This warranty is valid on camshafts
only where new lifters and proper valve springs are used, such as
those found in GoParts™ kits.
COMP Cams®’ obligation
under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of its
product. To make a warranty claim, the part must be returned within
one year from the date of purchase to COMP Cams®, 3406 Democrat
Road, Memphis, TN 38118, freight prepaid. Items covered under the
warranty will be returned to you freight collect. There is absolutely no warranty on the following:
||Any part used in racing applications.
||Any product that has been physically altered, improperly
installed or maintained.
||Any product used in an improper application, abused or not used
in conjunction with the proper parts.
There are no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for
a particular purpose. There are no warranties which extend beyond
the description on the face hereof. COMP Cams® will not be responsible
for incidental and consequential damages, property damage or personal
injury damages to the extent permitted by law. Implied warranties
of merchantability and fitness are limited for a term of one year
from the date of original purchase.
Some states do not allow limitation
on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so those limitations
may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal
rights and you may have other legal rights which vary from state
All merchandise returned for warranty consideration, inspection, repair, regrind, etc. must be sent prepaid and insured. Included must be the sender’s name, address, phone number and an explanation of the problem as well as the work to be done. All merchandise returned must be accompanied by a written authorization number. To obtain and authorization number, contact COMP Cams® at 1-800-967-1066.
All shipments are fully insured; therefore, all claims must be made
with the freight company. Do not return damaged merchandise to COMP
Cams® unless prior arrangements have been made.
Merchandise may be returned only if prior approval has been granted
by COMP Cams®. All merchandise returned for credit must be returned
in perfect condition. Merchandise will be inspected at time of receipt.
It should be returned prepaid and insured and may be subject to
a handling fee. Credit will be issued at lowest purchase price within
the last 12 months. A 10% restocking charge will be applied on refused
shipments or returns without prior approval.
Our hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday. COMP Cams® is closed Saturday, Sunday and all legal holidays. All orders for in stock merchandise will be shipped the same day they are received.
